Programs Coordinator
Fort Wayne Housing Authority
The Fort Wayne Housing Authority is seeking a Programs Coordinator to support participants and residents in programs such as FSS, FSEP, ROSS, HEAL, and MTW. This role helps families and individuals achieve economic independence and self-sufficiency by assessing needs, connecting them with resources, and building strong partnerships with community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management and develop self-sufficiency plans for participants.
- Connect residents with education, employment, health, financial, and supportive services.
- Build and maintain relationships with service providers, employers, and community partners.
- Track progress, manage program data, and ensure compliance with HUD and agency requirements.
- Plan and coordinate workshops, orientations, and enrichment programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a related role.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills (MS Office; YARDI preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and insurability required.
- Family Self-Sufficiency Specialist certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year).
